A Cry for Humanity is a celebration of ethical values, of a human, of an artist. It is based on the thoughts, poetry and prose of Srečko Kosovel, which seem to directly refer to the current situation in Europe and the world. It draws attention to the Human-Artist fighting for survival and portrays art as a necessity for the existence of an individual, of culture and humanity in general. This animated and engaged event follows the principle of collective theatre. Indeed, all participants were, in the work process and in the quantity of creative material, equal co-creators of the performance. Such a creative process gives emphasis to values of equality and group creativity. As socially engaged youth, they establish values those which matter to them; values building a new Europe and a better world. A world imagined by young Srečko Kosovel that artists are willing to fight for.
